Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your time to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's top models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its most notable innovation is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. It uses AI to recognize objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you a picture of any object it encounters so that you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, picking up spills and dirt with ease while leaving no trace it was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app that allows you to schedule cleaning times and set up Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't clean areas you don't want it to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it by speaking to it.

Its design is also an improvement over the rest with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy robotic rather than a loud, loud one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying and is ideal to speed up cleaning.

In our tests the j7+ performed quick to clean up dust, dirt and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place instead of scattering it across the floor. It was able capture small gravel, sand and even a tiny bit of grit. Most robots can't achieve this feat. It did all this without getting tangled up in our pet's shedding hair.

Although it's not as efficient as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs, the j7+ is still an excellent choice for those who need both mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a while to download updates and it is sometimes difficult to tell if they are working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors A hybrid is the best option. This kind of robot usually comes with a built-in tank for water that allows them to mop and vacuum your home at the same time. These bots also come with many additional features like smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. The negative is that they tend to be pricey at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.

Roborock makes some of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. This is the least expensive model in their auto-empty line. Although it might not include some of the premium features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories) however, it's an excellent option when you're willing to make some compromises to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is remarkably soft when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it an excellent choice for homes that have lots of furniture. It's also very thorough in getting rid of dust bunnies which is a problem which many robot vacuums often be a bit sloppy. The Q5+'s navigation system is excellent, with few misses on walls and corners.

Like other Roborock devices, the Q5+ can be controlled by a handful of buttons on the device itself or via the Roborock app. Through the app, you can start and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and alter your home map, or change the labels of rooms.

If you choose to purchase the Q5+ model, it ships with a new auto-empty dock designed specifically to make this robot easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once it's installed, emptying the bin can be done without difficulty. It also has an impressive LCD display that is great to have when you're setting up schedules or altering settings. This feature isn't necessary for most people but it can help you easily keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a clever, well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design and functionality are among the most advanced available however it's expensive.

It's a small base station that looks great and is able to be concealed when not in use. The station's main selling point is that it automates many tasks, functions and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require this.

And its vacuuming is impressive as well. It's the only robovac that I've tested that does an excellent job of removing debris from bare floors. And  robot vacuum deals 's not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly in the area of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robotvacs. This means that it can get stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the home. It also can't climb stairs like other models and doesn't come with a docking station to create a clean zone for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who want a vacuum robot that can do everything.

However, if you're looking to save money or simply don't care about the limitations of this machine there are many other options available which include a variety of eufy models priced significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is a bit more expensive however it comes with many more features, like stairs and a fully-function Dock, which provides a better overall vacuuming experience on plain floors, low-pile carpets, and even high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company that has a long history of creating robot vacuums with the right balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning of hard floors as well as mopping, carpets and other surfaces at an affordable price point. It's easy to setup, just snap one of the side brushes on, turn on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock must be placed near an outlet with enough space to move.

The G30 is a small device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, meaning it is able to be tucked away under couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design is less ostentatious compared to some rival models. It has a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral fashion over two minutes), Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.

The main feature that distinguishes the G30 above the rest is the method it cleans. It uses a built-in map to create an image of non-movable objects that are in its path while retaining what it's cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning where it left off.

The eufy G30 has its flaws, though. The iRobot Roomba 675 is more built, incurs lower recurring expenses, charges faster and offers similar battery life, while providing superior performance on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't require to be emptied as often and comes with a set of boundaries to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 is more affordable and simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't require as frequent emptying and it has less trouble with heavy materials such as cereal.
